Solution

Vision-Guided Robots

Give robots eyes: pick from random positions, inspect quality and adapt to variation.

Overview

Vision systems let robots locate parts that are not perfectly placed, pick from bins, read codes, guide welding seams and inspect quality.

We select 2D or 3D cameras, lighting and software, calibrate them to the robot and integrate them with the robot controller.

How It Works

  • A camera images the parts or seam
  • Software calculates position and orientation
  • Coordinates are sent to the robot as an offset or a pick point
  • Inspection results can trigger reject or rework routines

What's Included in the System

  • 2D or 3D camera
  • Lighting and mounting
  • Vision software or controller-integrated vision
  • Calibration targets
  • Robot interface and PLC handshake

Benefits

  • Eliminates expensive precise part feeders
  • Flexible for many part types
  • In-line quality inspection
  • Adapts to part variation
