Projects
Typical robot integration projects, from challenge to scope.
Project Experience
These pages describe the kinds of robot integration projects Zhiyan delivers: what the challenge usually is, how we approach it and what is in the scope. Every project is engineered around the customer's parts and volumes. See also our earlier application case studies.
Metal fabrication / heavy machinery: A fabricator welding frames and brackets by hand faced inconsistent weld quality, heavy grinding afterwards and a shortage of skilled welders.
Forklifts / construction machinery: Thick-plate, heavy weldments needed multi-pass welding with repeatable penetration and less manual seam grinding.
Food, beverage and packaging: Manual stacking at the end of a packaging line was slow, tiring and limited how fast the line could run.
Machining and metalworking: Spindles stood idle during breaks and shift changes, and part loading depended on operator availability.
Stamping / automotive suppliers: Hand feeding of presses was hazardous and limited the stroke rate.
Foundry and metal products: Manual grinding and polishing were dusty, noisy and produced uneven surface finish.
Lithium battery / new energy: Battery modules need accurate cell handling, reliable tab welding and traceability of each unit.
Electronics and 3C: Small parts required fast, precise placement, fastening and inspection with quick changeover for new models.
Job shops / small-batch fabrication: Small batches and frequent part changes made a traditional robot cell hard to justify.
Metal products and equipment: Manual spraying gave uneven film thickness and exposed operators to solvents.
Manufacturing logistics: Moving material by hand and forklift between the line and the warehouse caused delays and picking errors.
Any manufacturer with existing robots: Older robot cells had ageing controllers, outdated safety and needed to move to a new plant.
