Overview

A robotic welding system replaces manual torch handling with a programmed robot arm, a welding power source, a wire feeder and fixtures that hold the parts in position. The result is repeatable weld quality, higher arc-on time and a safer, cleaner job for operators.

Zhiyan designs the complete cell: robot selection, torch and cable routing, positioner, fixtures, fume extraction, safety guarding and the programming of every weld path.

How It Works

  • Parts are clamped in a fixture or on a positioner, either by an operator or an automatic loader
  • The robot moves the torch along programmed seams, coordinating with the positioner when required
  • Sensors (touch sensing, laser seam tracking or camera) correct for part variation
  • The welding power source communicates parameters with the robot controller and logs data
  • Operators unload finished parts while the second station is welding, keeping arc-on time high
